Cleveland, OH | May 4–6, 2026
We’ll be at Ceramics Expo USA 2026 in Cleveland this May, and honestly, it’s one we’ve been looking forward to.
The event runs May 4–6 at the Huntington Convention Center. This year, it’s back in Cleveland after two years in Detroit. Ohio is a serious manufacturing state. More than 3,000 engineers, manufacturers, and suppliers are expected to show up. And the lineup of sessions and exhibitors reflects that.
What’s actually happening in Ceramics Expo USA 2026?
Ceramics Expo brings the full technical ceramics supply chain under one roof. Raw materials, precision components, manufacturing systems. All in front of the engineers and R&D teams who actually spec and buy them.

The industries represented tell you a lot. Aerospace, automotive, semiconductors, energy, and medical devices. These aren’t people browsing for inspiration. They come with specific material challenges, tight tolerances, and real deadlines. Conversations on the floor tend to skip the small talk and get into it fast, which is what makes it worth attending.
This year’s conference program includes some genuinely interesting sessions. Day one features a NASA keynote on hypersonic ceramics alongside sessions on defense, space, and nuclear applications. Day two goes into strategy. Critical material sourcing, scaling advanced ceramics for microelectronics, and zero-defect manufacturing. There’s also a dedicated block on AI-designed ceramics and digitization for power generation, which is directly relevant to where manufacturing is heading.
A new Innovation Hub on the expo floor brings together startups, researchers, and established suppliers in one space. Worth paying attention to.
Conference highlights:
- NASA keynote on hypersonic ceramics
- Sessions on defense, space, and nuclear ceramic applications
- Ceramic additive manufacturing: moving from prototypes to production
- AI-designed ceramics and digitization for next-gen power generation
- Geopolitical shifts affecting critical material sourcing
- Zero-defect manufacturing and scaling ceramics for microelectronics
- Ohio’s role in next-gen ceramic manufacturing
Key features on the floor:
- Innovation Hub: startups, researchers, and industry leaders under one roof
- Solutions Innovation Stage: live product demos and technical showcases
- VIP Networking Pass for senior decision-makers
- Cross-sector coverage: aerospace, automotive, semiconductors, energy, electronics, and medical.
Why Elsner is there?
Our goal is to build global partnerships. We’re a digital transformation company. We build AI-powered platforms, custom software, and enterprise solutions for ceramic & tile businesses. Manufacturing is increasingly a software problem. How do you reduce defects at scale? How do you make R&D pipelines more data-aware? How do you connect production systems so they actually talk to each other? Those questions come up in ceramics manufacturing, just as they do anywhere else.
That last part is where we come in. Here’s what’s actually driving the shift. Additive manufacturing in ceramics is moving off the prototype bench and into real production.
Most manufacturers we work with aren’t dealing with one big problem. They’re dealing with ten small ones that trace back to the same root. Systems that don’t talk to each other. Reports are built in spreadsheets. No clear picture of what’s actually happening on the floor until something goes wrong.
We build software that fixes that.
We create custom platforms, AI tools, and integrations. Our experts make existing enterprise systems actually useful. Not exciting stuff to describe, but the impact is real. A factory that knows what’s coming can do something about it. One that finds out after the fact just cleans up.
That’s what we’ll be talking about in Cleveland. Find us if that sounds familiar.
If you’re an engineer or a procurement lead looking to understand the digital layer behind your operations, we’d like to talk.
